The weather peoples are forecasting 6-12 inches. More if we get thunder snow. Our county is on the edge of the Winter Storm Warning, with a Blizzard Warning set for just northeast of us.
Could be interesting, folks!
I have three gallons of milk in the fridge, and a decent supply of candles. Not a lot of flashlight batteries, but I can always count on the kids to have an LED or two.
More importantly, I have several bags of Dove's Dark Chocolates in the cupboard, and enough sugar and cocoa to get us through the next few days on chocolate pudding, if need be.
If worse comes to worse, I can always burn some of the unsorted clothing in the hall, which would kill two birds with one stone, not to mention several pairs of old jeans and a couple worn sheets.
Loren had an appointment scheduled at Mayo for tomorrow afternoon, but he was able to get it switched to today, so that's where he's headed, at this very moment. I noticed he threw his large winter jumpsuit and a shaving kit into the car...
In school news, Trevor is starting on his multiplication facts, today. He's all excited about learning more "big stuff." Poor kid. Another year or two and he'll be nice and jaded, just like the rest.
I was "Miss Efficient Office Manager" and made several phone calls, this morning, figuring out the coordination of Jason's dental and eye doctor appointments to correspond with the 4 actual days he might be home around Christmas. He may have to cancel a demo at work for some of the higher ups, but I'm sure that won't be a problem...
Finished my last library book, so I feel quite on top of things, aside from not being able to get out the Christmas letter, yet. I'm waiting on some news to be confirmed concerning a particular male personage and we also need to dig up a printer that doesn't leave large toner streaks on the paper.
And then, I'm negotiating a loan with the bank so I can buy Christmas stamps.

Gotta be careful with Babble Fish. A few years ago I used it to decipher the description that I'd found online of a house in Argentina. B.F. told me it said, "Uneven house with one sink" when in reality it was a split-level with a pool. lol

Ok Kim...I had to go to your blog to figure out what "Circle of Friends" was all about.
This could be interesting, but I was surprised you had nothing in your list of five concerning chocolate.
