Aauugh!! Lily attack!
Looks like that, doesn't it.
This is one that I got from the ditch last year, and it's the first bloom-time post transplant.
Also, the flower leans over, so I held the camera under and aimed up toward the sky (on macro) to get the blue background, thus I wasn't really looking through the viewfinder.
So the pistil and stigma aren't in that great of focus, but the anthers and stamens are pretty clear...I figured getting MOST of the parts in focus would have to do.
Believe me Mommy... it's an incredible picture, it's hard to even pick out the parts that aren't in focus. Really beautiful orange against blue.
At least it wasn't in my dreams last night as an Attack Lily.
