While Waiting for Laundry
Ma has cut out of the reunion doin's to take care of laundry. Hated to miss the afternoon's reader's theater, since my own baby-girl (Carolyn) has the part of Irene in The Princess and the Goblin, but dirty underwear waits for no man.
Besides, I found two one-dollar bills in the dryer, so....BONUS POINTS FOR MA!
I have five minutes before going back to take kids to swimming, so here goes:
This is just one of two wall-to-floor bookcases that were put in during the remodeling after the pick-up truck came through Mark and Lauri Anne's house...
...and that's only the non-fiction! Can you say, "Drooling in Jealousy?"
Zoo-time, today. Boy was it HOT!!
Elephants...
Flamingos...
....and Penguins, oh MY!
Gotta go, before certain young lads get desperate with their chlorine addiction.

I know how hot it can be at the Caldwell Zoo. We began taking Paige and my nephew, Blake, there when they were just toddlers and the zoo was still free. It's a very nice small zoo but much nicer in another season :p
