The March of Technology
Great. Now I have one MORE thing to display my technological incompetency.
Loren used his crafty bidding technique to acquire three two-way radios on eBay. I have it hooked to my belt loop at this very moment. It could be a better way for him to keep in touch with us, or contact us if an emergency arises.
Loren will keep his radio on throughout the day, and I will also. If I leave the house, Jason will turn HIS on. If Jason leaves the house, he will give his to Kendra.....and so on down the line, until we get to Trevor, who does not speak. This should be interesting.
With a two mile radius, I can supposedly be contacted even on my morning walk. Up until now, Loren has utilized this time to go back to sleep after taking his morning meds. Something tells me tomorrow will be different. I would be willing to bet any amount of money that I will be receiving a "ring" from "he who cannot pass up a test opportunity."
I am already loaded to the gills with techno gear. There are earphones for the transistor. The little radio has to be repositioned on my belt every time I turn the corner, or the already tenuous radio connection is lost. I have been carrying the cell phone with me each morning. (when I remember) Now, should I leave the cell phone at home? Hmmm. Also, I've started carrying hand weights for added intensity. (they double as anti- skunk missiles ) If I get a call on the two-way, I will have to put down the hand weights, remove the earphones, detach the radio from my belt, and proceed with the stimulating conversation, "Can you hear me now? Can you hear me now?.... This is 'Big Fat Mama,'.... OVER" That's assuming I even HEAR attempted contact over cranked up Glenn Miller.
It's all so confusing. I'm just a simple person. With simple tastes.
Perhaps a piece of chocolate will help.....

It will, no doubt.
Since choc. brings happiness to ones mouth (at least while it is melting)and happiness is one of those infectious diseases that can spread to other parts of the body...more choc.=more infection then it never hurts. It is even contagious enough that when shared with others it spreads happiness all around. Since we fight so many types of infections and illness, we should encourage this wonderful type of infection of happiness by spreading choc.all around!...Want a piece of choc.?
