We received word that Dad passed away this evening, with Mom and my sister, Nancy, at his side.
I am very glad I was able to go out and be with family and see my father during one of his alert times. His last words to me before Ardith and I left were, "You're a good girl."

My sympathy to you and your family. I'm so glad you got to have a good visit. May God protect you with his arms of comfort.
This is a hard time of our lives as we get older. Loosing our Dad at any time is hard...even when we know that they have had a great life and are in the hands of God. I will pray for you and your family, for peace, comfort, a time to grieve, and a time to remember a great man. I am glad you had a time to be with him and a chance to be with your siblings.

Thank you for letting us know. So glad you and Ardith got to see him. So glad he gave you a parting word of affirmation -- how precious. So glad the Lord blessed him with a long and good life, and that he is now in the presence of Jesus. We will continue to pray for you and your family.
