A letter to IPTV

Dear Peoples of the Iowa Public TV,

Please do not air excessive repeats of the Sesame Street television show. I am thinking particularly of the two-part episodes which describe the misfortune of Snuffleupagus and his ukulele.

While we sympathize with the pain Mr. Snuffleupagus endured when his musical instrument--inducing invisibility when played--became broken, causing him to remain "incognito" overnight, we do wonder whether three airings of this same story line in three weeks is necessary.

We are astonished at this reprise, since thousands of episodes have been produced. Also, we find it hard to maintain a genuine level of concern for Mr. Snuffleupagus when the same plot is played out, over and over again.

We know how it ends, and frankly, we find it very difficult--nay impossible--to "feel his pain" in such a repetitious manner.

A little diversity does not seem too much to ask, since we are forced to endure your agonizing fundraising efforts at least twice per annum.
