Would you believe....
....I went to the bank again and once more forgot my free calendar?
Hah! Just kidding.
On our kitchen wall now hangs a beauteous recorde de annum, with lovely pictures of antique tractors.
(the word tractor, by the way, comes from the Latin word "tractus," past participle of the Latin verb "trahere," which means to draw, as in pull or drag)
That pretty much made my day, along with replaying my favorite YouTube opera duet 4 or 5 times. (just a word to my family...the day isn't over, yet)

*sigh*
While we of this household like to keep abreast of cutting edge technology, (or at least be able to glimpse the cusp with binoculars) I just don't know...
It may have it's uses, but it's pretty obvious the people who developed this never had to potty-train a little kid. Face it, in that type of situation, the repellence of liquid is not what you're goin' fer.
Now, if science can attach nanoparticles with bacteria-repelling chemicals to clothing, why can't they attach something to the nose that will repel a cold virus?
Three more stricken sickies, today, with Ethan, Trevor and I being the only ones not ill or recovering.
Gotta love the holiday season.
