Update on Lowell Hoyt

(this is Loren's father, who is 87)

Loren pulled into Dayton TN about 10:30 p.m. (9:30 our time)--so this is hot off the IM press--and got a motel room across the street from the hospital where his dad is staying.

Loren was also able to go visit for about an hour, where he sat by the bed and made himself handy off and on. (Loren is taking some precautions for his own health, like wearing a mask, etc.)

No fever, but some trouble breathing. Lowell is being given antibiotic every day just in case he has a re-occurrence of pneumonia which had caused a previous hospitalization.

When he can tolerate it, they give him some oxygen and inhalation therapy, but he is rather uncomfortable.

Overall, his vital signs are good, the nurses did not think it a serious situation and that he could get over it without much problem.

Loren will probably know more tomorrow but it seems this ended up being a very appropriate time for him to try and visit his dad.

Always interesting to see how God works and moves in the lives of people.
