Roadside Roses

Yea for wild roses in bloom!


I took this picture on the way to the semi-big city for shopping. The really nice thing is that though I absent-mindedly set my camera down between the seats AND LEFT IT THERE WHILE SHOPPING IN THE GOODWILL STORE, NO ONE NOTICED IT OR SWIPED IT.

So, it's been a good day and I'd have to say it certainly pays to drive a crummy looking car.

In other news, Loren was able to fix the lawn mower after the left rear wheel fell off. Not to worry, I only had to hold up the mower for the last 40 minutes on that busy, busy day last Monday when we were expecting company.

And frankly, it is easier to mow when all four wheels are working.

The lawn mowing occurred after I returned from grocery shopping. (cashmere sweater from Goodwill for 99 cents. One of these days I'm startin' a business on Ebay)

The shopping came about after...

...I finished work at the church, aided by rain which meant I didn't have to wash the glass doors :-D

Got to watch Veggie Tales with the kids which is always a fun bonding experience. (Hey, does anybody else think that butterfly landing on Madame Blueberry's house, tipping the balance so it falls over is a reference to Chaos Theory? I do)

Ooooo, I just remembered...the best part is that it's time for The Red Green Show.
