My Wonderful Husband...

...has fixed the mower!

I was wrong about the problem. It was not the wheel breaking but the side of the mower falling apart and allowing the wheel to slip out of its formerly....*cough*....sturdy metal deck.

They just don't make cheap Chinese mowers like they used to.
