Those Holidays

September is nearly half over and pathetic Ma is only now getting around to the holidays of this month.

What can I say? School started and life has gotten busier. Don't worry though, we're still in time to mention a horrendously momentous birthday coming up very, very soon :-)

Upon looking at this date specifically, I see that I've committed a grievous error in missing yesterday, September 13th which was...

...the birthday of Milton Hershey, founder of Hershey's Chocolate!!

What a culinary faux-pas on my part. I'll have to eat extra chocolate to make up.

On to today, September 14th which is...

National Cream-filled Donut Day (Ick. Can't say as that's terribly appealing)

Today is also the birthday of Clayton Moore, the actor who played the Lone Ranger.

There is another grand event for which September 14th is known. (or should be) This is the eve of an EXTREMELY important birthday, for which humility forbids any more release of information other than that she will be 49, lives in Iowa and as can not be mentioned too often, is renowned for the utmost humility.
