After 5.5 hours of cleaning, Ma would just like to say "Whew, baby !" Couldn't have done it without those two protein bars and the bottle of water.

Ma has two "Oh brother !" Media Awards going out tonight:
The first goes to Matt Drudge, who spilled the beans on Prince Harry being on the front lines.
Let's hear it for the public's right to have the royals ratted out. The power to affect others' lives must be too hard to resist, at times.
And the second award? Rush Limbaugh, for encouraging Texas Republicans to vote for Hillary in hopes of continuing the Democratic "soap opera."
Just the kind of political shenanigans to cure America of its cynicism.
It's enough to drive a person to brownies.

And you know, I was listening to Rush saying that every day, but I didn't think people would actually listen. I wonder if she could have won without his help. It just doesn't seem wise to me, but I don't pretend to understand the electoral college system.

Texas, at least, is an open-primary state. You don't have to register as a Democrat to vote in the Democratic primary. So I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Republicans did cross over to vote in the opposing race. I did hear early reports that far more Texans were voting in the Democratic primary than the Republican one -- but that could just be due to the fact that the Democrats had an actual race going on rather than because of Republican infiltration.
