Life in the Yard

The Flickers are back!
They came around for a few days, last year about this time. I'd look up the exact date but I'm too lazy.

Ooooo, a snake!
Derek found him out in the yard last week. I'm guessin' Hog Nosed, but not totally sure. Again, don't wanna take up valuable time with research when I should could be fixing supper.

The hummingbirds are still sippin' the sugar water. The only thing more important than actually drinking your-self...


...is making sure the guy on the zinnias doesn't get a chance.
Funny little critters, those hummers.

Remind me of kids.

And politicians.
