A "Lovely" Day

You know it's going to be a great day when you come back from your walk and see the little Japanese Tree Lilac has had the protective trunk covering ripped off, the identification tag laying in the grass, and the bark stripped clear around the trunk.

At least I got it on 50% clearance.

Just more confirmation that some people are not destined to have nice things. Either animals, kids or the weather will wreck them.

Nolan and Trevor have been taking longer and longer to eat breakfast, so today, I had them fold their clothes. And since they goofed around doing that, I also slaved them into washing the kitchen floor after I'd swept.

It is now 11:45 and we have not started school, yet.

Only a short 12 more years until Ma's vacation!
