From an undisclosed location...

...well, it's really Loren's computer.

Mine went on the fritz this afternoon, just when I was updating the AVG antiviral program.

Yeah...I will sure do THAT again sometime.

Around this same time, we lost Internet connection, so I was basically a "Ma without a country," forced to take desperate measures and clean parts of the house.

I know !

Thankfully, I put off the necessary restart for the antiviral update until after I'd ordered the Christmas photocards. It took for-EVER to find something that would take our whole family's picture, without cutting off at least 2.5 people around the edges. And that was after I'd re-sized the photo 25% smaller.

I ended up using a blank card, with absolutely no border. It will be a little plain, but at least I won't have to explain who's missing.

Internet is back up, obviously, and Sharon and Kendra made it safely home. No weather problems, though once they got to the gravel road it became a bit slick.

After all the hubbub and getting the younger ones to bed, we sat around and imbibed Much Ado About Nothing. Gotta love the guy playing Benedict...he did a marvelous job with the character! And Michael Keaton was real laugh, as well.

Now we look forward to seeing Ardith and Justin tomorrow, and chowing down on turkey and all the trimmings!
