Probably one of the hottest church picnics on record. Heat advisory and surprise rain shower, which only seemed to make things hotter.

I don't like this picture, but it man-oh-man, did it feel super to stick my steaming hot legs into the cool river!

Oh course, there was the obligatory water fight.


But even crazy-energetic kids had to rest, once in a while.


A highlight for Ethan was taking a ride with Ezra on Steve Bell's jet ski.


The park in Greene was nice, but the weather was ex-TREME-ly hot. I didn't realize you could almost fall asleep sitting on hard, wooden benches.

Trevor left his beloved bracelets in the grass, but no one was hurt, and no one melted, though I daresay we were pretty close to evaporating, once or twice.
