The Franz Family

It was groupie time, as Ma and three chillins went to a nearby town to listen to some good, Christian Bluegrass music. (also in the picture is a guest train whistle soloist from the audience)
The Franz Family, whom we first heard....*cogitates*.....now, somebody was just a baby....I think it was Ethan....so that makes it almost NINE YEARS AGO! Is Ma getting old, or what? Yes, before some of you were even in high school. (back when you almost knew everything. Unlike now, when you DO know everything)
Tonight was no exception to their other concerts we've attended, a real blessing. This family band of musicians has been on the road a fair piece, of late. I was chatting with Randy afterwards, and he said they had only been home 2 days in August, and about 4 or 5 days in each surrounding month. It's amazing they still produce such fine music. I guess that's what professionals do. But, they are not in it for the money, but to use the gifts and practiced abilities God has endowed them with to share their love of the Lord with others.
How many vans do you know that have 506,00[0] miles on them? That's Five hundred six THOUSAND miles. Well, theirs does. The "van fund" is accumulating, but there is still a little ways to go. Hopefully, all the necessary monies for that project will be raised, faster than the price of their replacement van. So, if you have any spare money hanging about :-D just visit their web site and you can be assured it will be put to good use for the Lord's work.
(I myself, donated some of Loren's mad computer money. I don't know what all these comments about, "Give till it hurts," mean, 'cause that didn't hurt me one lil' ol' bit. *blows kiss to hubby*)

I actually DO want to be informed of typos and misspelled words. While it is impossible to be com-pletely perfect, (though, some of us are close) one wishes to appear publicly ignorant for the briefest amount of time possible.

Hopefully, you will feel a twinge of guilt, when I tell you that correcting the mistake postponed supper for almost ten minutes :-D
