The amazing Bunny Boy at his computer

This picture of Trevor at his computer is noteworthy because, (aside from him being the cutest little three and a half year old nipper in the world) he is playing a game that Jason just started on last night. Jason will probably be going into conniptions at this very moment, since it is not at all finished. But enough is done to keep little brother amused, shooting bullets randomly off into space.

I walked into the computer room the other day and said, "Hey, what is Trevor doing on Carolyn's computer?"

"Oh, she let him go on hers because he doesn't have Linux on his, yet...."

"Oh..........HEY! I don't have Linux on mine, yet....you're not giving that little shrimper Linux, are you?"

*sniff*

Sometimes I feel so left out....

On another note, it being Sunday afternoon, and trying to simultaneously post, have a family chat with Ardith and Sharon, and think of something for snack, the phone rang just after I'd asked Nolan (6) to get down a box of brownie mix. It was the wife of another heart transplant patient we'd met up at Mayo. We had a nice chat, with me doing most of the listening :-) When finished, I went to the kitchen to find the brownie mix pretty much all--mixed--up.

"Uh, Nolan, you put in the oil and the water...."

*beaming* "Yes!"

"Mmmmm....so, did you measure it?" *checks glass measuring cup"

"Yessss..."

"You put in a half cup of oil, and a quarter cup water?"

*silence*

So, we had established that the oil and water had been added, but the proportions were somewhat unclear. Still, it looked close enough to add the eggs and throw it in the oven.

And, lo and behold, it seems to have baked in a most brownie-ish manner. Worth tasting, at least.

I'm glad to see the boy using his initiative.

But, I will definitely not leave bomb-making plans laying around....
