(today's) Lessons from the Treadmill
- Katie Couric is still using the word "ubiquitous" every day. ("Katie, Sweetheart, get a THESAURUS!")
- NBC paid for Kevin Tibbles to take Gladiator lessons (this was actually from two days ago...it's just taken me this long to get over the trauma of seeing him in a tunic)
- Matt Lauer should definitely NOT go with the ovalish shaped sunglasses. This is ITALIA fer cryin' out loud, Matt. Thus, the bar is raised substantially in areas of art, fashion, and styles of sunglasses.
- (local news) Iowa is next to last of all surrounding states in terms of amount spent on tourism. In last place? Nebraska. *waves to Zippy* :-)

Heh, I was wondering...I was watching the morning show where they were in what's-it Italy talking about fashion...I was wondering how they'd take me in my jeans, hoodie, and over-used basketball shoes. Heh.
My little town is way up there on the tourist scale...Germanfest - every last full weekend in April!
yeah, we don't try too hard to get tourists around here. the main tourist attraction is when the sandhill cranes come through. for some reason, people come from all over the country and beyond to see them. don't ask me why...
