Hey ho....I just took the "Remember the Ladies" quiz on CNN, with first time correct answers on 11 of 12 questions!
(I got hung up on the name of Ebay's babe--took me all four tries. And after everything I've boughten from them....)
It's a pop-up, so I can't link....but go to the CNN site, and scroll down on the right.
Let me know how you fared :-) and whether or not the correct past participle is "bought," or "boughten."
{3:45pm update--unfortunately, the quiz has now been replaced with "Spa trips and gourmet food" (for pets) which, I'm sure we can all agree is far more important than women in history} ID-iots.

Curses! I had 10 of 12; I missed both the eBay question and the racecar question. I must say that both misses came as a great shock to my opinion of myself.
I believe the word you seek is "buyed," used with the auxiliary verb "done."
Oh Wilson....you don't know how HAPPY this has made me!
I will remain, as always, the humble and guileless (or is that bileless...I always get them confused) Ma that I have ever been....even as I was from my first steps across the floor of our log cabin in the Big Woods.
Don't worry, Wilson. I'm certain the graduate schools under consideration will have no qualms knowing you scored below a chubby music major who immersed herself in the intellectual void of childcare for lo, these 24 years.

p.s. The car question was a matter of luck, having chanced upon a race several months ago.The vehement comments of sons (at that time) were an aid in recalling her name, later.
