Out Ioway

My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of Heaven and earth,
He will not let your foot slip-
He who watches over you will not slumber.

The Patient Report

Loren got through the night with decent sleep. Let's hear it for the muscle relaxants and pain pills!

He is most uncomfortable though, and after stuffing pillows and arranging eggshell foam pads in an attempt to prop him up for lap-top perusal, he has come to the conclusion that there is no good way to facilitate this activity.

Loren is reduced to lying fairly flat and staring sorrowfully at a home improvement show on TV.

I've alerted our church people and given instructions "No Visitors," and sent an email to Loren's side of the family. I think my side knows, because most of them actually read this blog (heh, heh).

*waves to Mom*

Other than that, the main news is that I've now commandeered Loren's downstairs computer. I do miss some of my old bookmarks, but I'm sure he won't mind if I delete some of these uninteresting ones (car parts, computer sites, etc) and stick in a few dozen of my favorites: cartoons, blogs and weird/funny news sites.

Oh yes....I am also getting more exercise by running up and down the stairs. (it's good for me)

Now, if I get a move on I can finish cleaning the church with the help of my faithful sidekick, Carolyn, and get back before the next pain pill.

Ciao, baby.

Oh dear! Rest up a lot while you can, Daddy. I hope the pain and discomfort go away soon.
