Sorry for all the posts....

....some days are simply more prolific than others.

Just have to brag on the daughter Sharon, for a second.

She has a job! Yes, Sharon will be an ESL (English as a Second Language) Instructional Assistant at the Warsaw High School. She's got a picture ID complete with "Miss Hoyt" AND a parking sticker!

Warsaw is right next to the town of Winona Lake and is actually quite close to where we used to live, and not far from the friends who are boarding our gal.

Looks like Indiana (and points east) is getting all the snow that escaped us. Funny how our little niche of Iowa has missed EVERY STINKIN' STORM THAT HAS COME EVEN CLOSE in the past few years. Not that I'm complaining or anything...

In other news, we finished off The Hobbit last night and shall start right in on the trilogy later this evening :-) It is most fun. This is about the fourth time I've read through the series for the kids and I can almost pronounce most of the words! (except the Elven language--don't even attempt it) Though it was a real shock to realize I was mispronouncing "Gandalf" all these years. I'm still tryin' to correct that one...

Somehow, the kids enjoy this even though most of them have read through it on their own. Ethan recently completed The Hobbit and I said he couldn't read the next one for a bit. It's so nice to feel needed...*sniff*

In still other news, tomorrow is Valentine's Day and we celebrate by taking Derek and Carolyn down for their annual (9 month) check-up with the good Doctor H., electrophysiologist extraordinaire. It is Heart Month, after all.

We've even been down there on our anniversary (twice, I think) which just goes to show you what a fun couple we are.
