You know you need a new wallet....

...when the lady in the post office has to run out to the road to catch you 'cause the plastic inserts that hold your driver's license have broken and your ID falls out to the floor when you paid for the postage.

Fortunately for you, your purse is such a mess that it takes a while to find your keys and get organized and that takes up enough time so that you have not completely pulled away from the post office before the nice lady can run out and inadvertently demonstrate how inattentive you are.
