People You Should Know
As Ma was warming up between ye olde flannele sheetes last evening, the 10 o'clock news burbled along until my attention was drawn to a promo...
KWWL has a feature at 6 o'clock on Monday nights--which I never see--called "Someone You Should Know."
Not sure why there was a rehash last night, but Ma is most glad she caught it!
The Johnson Family Strings attend our church, and they were last Monday's feature. Here's the story....click on the video at the right, to replay the segment.
The Johnsons also have their own website and I'm thinkin' that mighta just gone up recently.

In other news, we've had a fairly productive week around here.
1) Ma got her hair cut, immediately erasing 1.7 years from her face.
2) Ordered tickets for the Derek lad and moi...we are going to the BIG CITY to hear Cantus, the end of March. WOOHOO!
3) Got back into the school routine
4) Discovered the place the younger kids have been testing will be charging thirty dollars per student this year, so Ma is arranging for the old method of going in to the local school. Nerve wracking for the kids, but cheaper for me. (except for the gas used in traveling for five days to a school 20 minutes away)
5) Loren has been working like crazy on a system to heat the garage. It involves our old heat pump, mind altering adhesives and approximately 3 miles of PVC pipe. (in any group of 10 males, 8 will develop into a mad scientist-type personality. And then there are people like Loren, who absorbed those leftover 2 mad scientist personalities floating around in thin air. From several different groups)
6) I fixed my computer! It wasn't allowing me to save documents I was writing, which would have made it hard to send a best-selling manuscript (haven't written one, yet) to my book editor (don't have one), thus depriving the family (got that) of oodles of money (uh....no). When my computer froze, I had to restart it and PRESTO, I could "save as" again. Hey....that counts as "fixing," doesn't it?
TODAY: Well, now that I've finally stopped Trevor and Nolan from giggling uncontrollably instead of doing their math, I'm off to clean my desk...which is right here, basically.
