Dancing Birds and other oddities
I have worked on a post several different times today, never quite finishing the intended medical report. I don't know...it's almost as if I wasn't meant to sit at my computer all day and pour forth my extremely heartfelt but generally shallow knowledge, do ya know what I mean?
*sigh*
Nolan tried the ol' "I'm sick" ploy, this morning. But when it became clear that he had no temperature and had, indeed, scoped out a morning full of Lego-play, Ma got tough and made him do school. He skipped supper last night, something I thought unusual, given the attractive, frozen pizza. He's complained of a stomach ache and a headache, so I was preparing for the worst. The night passed uneventfully, though he claimed he'd hardly slept.
Nolan did drag a sleeping bag downstairs and lay under it, on the couch (I break out into a sweat, just thinking about it). But as long as he gets his work done, I'll try and ignore the total overkill on prophylactic measures.
Then, after returning from a two hour trip to get the new lenses in my glasses (stopped at a resale shop :-) we were watching the news when a version of THIS came on:
So, I thought, "Hey, why not skip the boring medical report (just for now, you're not getting off the hook PERM-anently) and post a video of a dancing cockatoo?" Be sure and watch to the very end.
It works for me.

That video just made my day :D
Yeah. Nolan and Carolyn were quite expressive when they watched.
