A Decent Day
After transplanting extra flowers gleaned from thinning at the courthouse, we managed to get everyone, sans Loren, out the door and off to the libraries by 9:30am. When asked if he wanted to go along, Loren replied, "Well, I thought this would be a good time to turn off the water, while everyone's gone."
And there you have it. The secret dreams of a mad scientist heavily involved in hydrological experiments...with everyone away there is nothing to hinder the workings of pumps, motors and the copious exchange of water, from place to place.
Personally, I'd rather go to the library. Even with Derek driving. Which he did.
All things accomplished and in good order, we returned home to have sandwiches for lunch. Then we had sandwiches again, for supper. BLT's to be exact (I had to get this last greasy meal out of the way before starting Loren on his lower cholesterol food-thingy-regimen).

It's been too long since I've posted a picture, so here's one of my favorite June bloomers, the red Knockout Rose.
It's practically florescent, it is.
Oops, time for The Red Green Show...
