We...*yawn*....picked apples, today
After about 7 years or so, the excitement tends to wane. So THIS year, we are THRILLED that the trees didn't produce heavily. Fits nicely in with my slacker mentality.
I would have pictures, but Blogger is being an idiot, AGAIN, and until I can post all five pictures, I ain't postin' nuthin'.
Blogger must learn not to trifle with MA!

In other news, 10 pills down and 10 to go. That means I'm halfway through the course of antibiotics, if I remember my Algebra 2 correctly.
Feeling fairly good. Only taking one nap per day now...and Monday I didn't have any! Well, at least, not until after 4pm, which might explain the inability to sleep, later.
I'm tellin' ya, this slacking off is harder than it looks. It's not piece of cake, people! (though there have been occasional bowls of ice cream).
But we're getting through the daily school grind, so things have not totally gone to pot.

In Cedar Rapid news, Jason left his car here and took our mini van down to "The Big City." Loren's going to see if he can figure out why Jason's vehicle doesn't want to start in the cold or rain. I can sympathize, but what do I know about cars...
The main benefit turns out to be that Jason inadvertently took a mouse from this property down to Ardith's garage. The mouse had been living in the van and made it's presence known to Jason one day on his commute to work.
You can imagine our horror at the break-up of yet another rodential family, but I can hardly be held responsible for keeping up with the mouse census out in the yard. Judging by the smell in our pantry though, poison will have its way, eventually, and I suggest, Jason, that you place some in the van.
In the event of mouse mortality, you can just drive a little faster to work, heh, heh. Maybe leave the doors open to air it out, while you're typing away at your cushy keyboard job.
That's all for now. There's no sense in overdoing this sitting around and typing, business...

This sounds like such an effective method of retaliation, that I choked on the water I was swallowing.
Well, I guess that's preferable to drowning in finger blood from cutting a carrot with the wrong edge of a knife.
(your father misses out on so much drama by not being on Facebook)
I would say choking is way more likely to kill me than getting enough blood out of my finger to drown in it.
Anyway, for your sake, I guess I should have mentioned that there was no blood involved. In the knife incident.
