Great Aunt Becky, Strikes (yet) Again

It's been a prolific year, for the nieces and nephews. I'm a bit behind on this one, who was born on May 27th.

It's been a fairly busy day, what with voting, making bread, doing a bit of mowing and now nursing a migraine (from the heat and stress of mowing in the humidity).

Still, I had time to throw in a couple of rests as well as read a bit.

Jason and Derek drove up to vote, although Jason claims he mostly came up to eat. We had burritos and fresh strawberry shortcake for supper. Our strawberries! And real whipped cream. You just can't scrimp on the real whipped cream, for some things.

Also cut Jason's hair, so all in all, a pretty profitable day.

Plus, the youngest 4 were at Bible School all morning and it's amazing how they come back fairly quiet for the rest of the day!

I should really hire someone to wear the kids out for me, more often.

A person could get used to them being gone to school all day...

No, no. I did NOT say that!
