The Shakespeare Project - Act 2
Guess what, everybody....LE PASSPORT EST ICI!
I am doing my little happy dance! Or would be, if I weren't so old and decrepit.
No matter! Ma is terribly excited, as this not only means I am one step closer to Ontario's Shakespearean-festival-of-goodness, but even more importantly,
MY PASSPORT ARRIVED IN JUST OVER TWO WEEKS!!
Beating Kendra's record all to pieces.
I WIN. :-D
Now to the exquisite details:
As I stated earlier, the picture wasn't the greatest. I was just about to blink, so I have that sleepy, slightly sultry, sorta look.
Now normally, I wouldn't be happy with "sultry" (just ask Loren), but in this case, I do believe it's a welcome distraction from the four double chins around my neck.
Visagely speaking, we're talkin' net gain.
There is one potential problem arising from the hair style...it wasn't even. Hair was pouffed out on one side, more than the other. And this begs the question: Do I have to replicate this bad hair day for all of my trips? Shall I be detained in customs for too good a coiffure?
I can't find the answer anywhere in the passport pamphlet.
Though I'm assured, "With your U.S. Passport, the world is yours!" there's absolutely no information concerning asymmetrical hairdos.
Clearly, the Department of State needs to elaborate in their glossy, power-travel tri-fold.
Also, I think it would be real nice if the post office that processed my application installed a small salon.
A few night courses in cosmetology, and that postmaster guy could be raking in the dough.
