Dateline: Cholesterol
Okay! "Ma," this is the first day of the rest of your life!
We are going to lick this high cholesterol business, or drive everyone nuts, trying.
Breakfast: instead of the usual two egg omelet, wrapped around 4 oz of melting cheese, the kind that is all warm and stringy and lovely....*slaps face* ("Snap out of it, Ma!") I opted for 1 1/2 bowls of healthy, semi-whole grain cereal. Or, that could have been 1 1/2 grains of cereal in semi-clean bowls, I don't remember. (if you think the two eggs per day was a lot, I used to have three each morning)
Yes, we are really taking this seriously. I figure that when the weather moderates, I can get back into my 4 mile a day walks. That, and an altered diet ought to put things aright. If worse comes to worse, I can always have cholestro-suction done. That's where they insert small tubes into each blood cell and lure the bad cholesterol out by hanging large hunks of meat, eggs and butter just outside their cell doors.
Naturally, this is a time consuming process. This entails a whole lotta tubes. That is why it is only used as a method of last resort. (Although, if you do use this approach, you automatically get enrolled in a reality television show that involves coming down the stairs in an evening gown before myriads of crying relatives. Certainly an added incentive.)
Well, that's all for this morning's HDL Report.
More interesting facts concerning cholesterol will be made available, just as soon as I make them up. Tweet

Hey try adding Citricell or high fiber to the diet in pill form. It supposedly helps and it is much easier than eating the farm animals oats...besides who want to be as healthy as a horse....look what postion they get..riden, hauling wagons, and then thrown out ot pasture when they get old.
Sorry about the spelling...at 4:30 something..what more could you expect...i am just glad thoughts are still running through my head. Besides I just said goodnight to some LETU students...?
MoM, you gotta get to bed earlier :-)
My brother's personal record was seventeen eggs eaten at one sitting. Oh, the foolish buffet! I couldn't top that; I think I only made fifteen or sixteen. We liked eggs when we were younger; yes, we did, precious. We still likes eggses now, but don't eat them as voraciously (because they're not as rare as they once were). Nice blog, by the way!
