Progress

-Nolan read a host of simple sentences today. His mummy is very proud :-)

-I cleaned off my desk, thereby transferring a few brain cells from right to left.

-discovered the sweeper works better after removing a nite lite bulb (intact) and several wadded bills of play money, denomination unknown

-apparently, learning how to run the vacuum does not prevent 8-year-olds from sweeping up miniature light bulbs.

Technological Firsts of Note:

-My mom IMed me the other day. Of her own volition. She is 87 this month. Her daughter is very proud :-) *remind self to get birthday card*

-Loren hooked up computer speakers to my transistor radio and set it up in the kitchen. He was very nice to hide them behind the microwave. Especially after I lit into him about "messing up my kitchen." I apologize, O Handy Hubby :-)

Back to the Ordinary Stuff:

-I ordered the garden seeds today. Online, and probably on time for early planting.

-I remembered to take meat out of the freezer more than eight hours before supper. Two days in a row.

-Carolyn, after being tortured by a loose tooth, wiggled it and wiggled it and then pulled it out herself!

-the cleaning accomplished yesterday is still evident today. For the most part.

-cleverly played radio so that no one would grab the piano before I could.

-exercised restraint and kept post relatively short
