BREAKING NEWS!

Sit down everyone. I have extraordinary news to report...

...the formerly lost Godzilla's Revenge has been retrieved from behind the formidable wall of TV case and components!!

It took the four youngest kids, a couple of cheap Wal*Mart flashlights, a yardstick with a piece of duct tape rolled up on the end and much perseverance.

"You've almost got it...you've got it!....no wait....OK, now you've got it....oh...try again...okay, NOW you've got it....no wait....(etc)."

And finally, VICTORY!

Kid: "Course, there's still the André Rieu DVD back there..."

Ma: "Hey! That's mine...."

Kid-who-may-soon-be-out-of-the-will: "That's OK. Godzilla's more important."

Ethan: "Hey Mommy, let's call off the rest of school and watch it to celebrate."

Ma: "We are NOT doing that."

Ethan: "Aw rats..."

Trevor: "Mommy! I'm going to have this foh my buhth-day movie!!"

Ma: "Ohhhhh-kay."

Nolan: "Mommy? Is this the 4th?"

Ma: "Yes..."

Nolan: "Can I put 'DVD Rescue' on the calendar?"

*blinks*

Ma: "I guess so..."

Nolan: "So, it's the 4th, right?"

*sigh*

Ma: "Yes. It's (only) the 4th."



If this keeps up I could probably cancel Christmas and they'd never notice...
