He's as miserable as I've seen him post-transplant.

The Mayo doc said he'll have to let the virus run it's course. There is nothing they can do for him since the bacteria cultures did not come back positive nor the tests for influenza A and B.

Terrible headache. Tylenol is the only pain reliever allowed and he doesn't use it much since it gives him a rebound headache.

Still running a fever, though not over 100 at the moment.

Much coughing, sneezing, runny nose....the works.

Carolyn and Derek still seem fine, but I suppose they'll get it in a day or so. I am very glad Derek was able to take the ACT test already, and that he can go to the Republican convention in Dubuque tomorrow. Let's hear it for those Severs who are giving him a ride!

I've cautioned him not to start any riots.

I'm feeling the beginnings of "something" but am dosing with the ol' Zicam and Zinc lozenges in hopes of preventing or at least staving off the onset until I can get through another day or two...
