Mowing in Iowa...
...in the balmy month of May.
So the temperature has gone up ALL THE WAY TO 46 degrees! Whoo-ee.
That's improved from 39, when I began mowing. However, the wind has increased from 26 to 31 mph.
Inside la casa, Loren is busy as a bee, quite energetic and ready to move this and that, here and there.
Do you ever find that when one spouse has all kinds of get-up-and-go, the other one feels more like sitting around, cruising facebook or blogging? But at least the kids are helping Loren. I mean, that's what we had them for, right? They're still young enough to get enthused about these kinds of things. I do find it rather exciting that people other than myself are running the sweeper.
But ya know, we all have our jobs and duties. I see mine as keeping the lawn safe from dandelion terrorism and making mulch for the raspberries.
