"Ha" on Ma

What I thought would be a simple, two-hour mulching job at the courthouse turned into 5 hours and 20 minutes. Highlights of the day were as follows:

• some manure left in the mulch, which came from the cow sheds at the Butler County fair
  
• Green Dragon Lady Lincoln refusing to start at noon, when we realized we needed food
  
• unknown lady spraying starter fluid down the gullet of the GDLL, while I cranked
  
• car of infamy started on third spray, which was also the end of the can
  
• had Loren on the phone during this time..."We're gonna be late...have the kids start lunch....I HATE THIS STUPID CAR!"....(I didn't mean it, O Green Dragon Lady Lincoln)
  
• buy sandwiches, drinks and STARTER FLUID at Casey's, whilst leaving the car running
  
• more mulching
  
• Melinda weeded the rose garden and finished pruning
  
• still filling the wheel barrow with mulch
  
• told Melinda three times, "This is the last load...REALLY"
  
• Melinda loses all faith in her mother's word
  
• could have stayed 45 more minutes, but decided to go home and rescue Loren from the kids
  
• stopped by church and watered lilies
  
• had Kendra's 20th birthday celebration! (pictures, tomorrow)
  
• cleaned up huge mess in kitchen (well, some of it, anyway)
  
• finished blogging
  
• went to bed...no wait, took medication for aching muscles, THEN went to bed
