The Fat Report: Day 8
Thought I'd given up, didn't you? Well, I haven't :-)
Evaluation of Past Week:
-increased intensity and reps on Total Gym daily workout (6 days per week, alternating upper and lower body emphasis--I have been doing this for over a month)
-denied myself ANY trail mix. ALL WEEK LONG.
-took the 4-mile walk on four separate days.
-worked an extra hour at the church (usually it's between 3.5-4 hours weekly)
-cut down on portions
*drum roll............*
Stepped on the scales this morning to discover.........I had gained 1/2 a pound.
Well that's -----just---- SUPER. These are the kinds of results one can only dream about. In nightmares.
So, as I see it, I have several options:
1) Go back to what I was doing before, and keep gaining
2) Continue what I have done this past week and keep gaining, but at a slower rate
3) Start a completely new diet, made up exclusively of white bread, butter and chocolate
4) Find somebody to sue
5) Take drastic action
As fun as # 3 would be, I feel my only recourse is to take drastic action. Brace yourselves. Are you sitting down? *takes deep breath*
I shall forego chocolate, for one week. Yes, you heard me! Not even one Dove's. Not even a nibble of Sharon's leftover birthday cake, "Death by Chocolate." We shall see if this brings about any desirable results.
Naturally, with such extreme measures, a new daily category must be added:
"The Sanity Watch." Today's report? It's only been 3 hours, but so far, no hallucinations. Tweet
