Two Home, Two to Go
Loren and Sharon arrived safely home at five this evening. Problems with getting a nurse to supervise the inhalation therapy (she was paged 3 times, with waits of 10-20 minutes each time) and hazardous road conditions.
Apparently, though the worst weather was supposed to be to the west, there were still nearly whiteout conditions. Loren thought they averaged 40-45 miles per hour. (the interstate allows 70) So, while it was not quite dicey, it was pretty nigh close.
Thanks to the Good Lord for bringing them safely home!
Now, we await news of Ardith and Heather getting back to Texas. I expect a call around 10, or so.

{to Becky C. in Peru: I am still getting all of your emails, and still unable to get any sent back your way :-( I have contacted your mission board to see if they have an answer. If that doesn't work, I am pulling out the big guns and calling your mom! You wouldn't happen to have Instant Messaging, would you?}

We'll close with a tiny little poem.....which, as is characteristic with most of my thoughts, just popped into my head for no apparent reason......
I met a little mangst,
Who had a little angst.
He thought about his life so much it
Gave him quite a pangst.
But then one day he woke,
And found that he was broke.
He got a job at Mac's and wound up
Selling fries and Coke.
The moral of this story:
(If I am not too borey)

Far from hunky-dory." Tweet
