Riddles
Q: Children ranging in age from 3 to 17 happily paw through hundreds of pieces of plastic. References to "CPU," "case," "fan," and "drives" are mentioned. What is their mission?
A: The kids are building a computer. Out of Lego's.
Q: After Ardith drove all the way from Texas to Iowa, who is sleeping most of the afternoon away on the couch?
A: Her roommate, Heather
Q: You see a small apparition of what seems to be hip waders walking unaided. What is it?
A: Three-year-old Trevor in cowboy boots 10 sizes too big.
Q: A large basket of cloth assaults you in the rec room. Why?
A: The boys have forgotten to fold their laundry. Again.
Q: Under the guise of a cleanup project, extraneous computer equipment miraculously disappears from a cluttered room. Could it be the rapture includes non-living items?
A: Alas, NO. Hubby is making his very own computer testing lab out in the addition.
Q: Husband inquires as to the whereabouts of his vinyl sweats. Could he have plans to train for the marathon?
A: No. The "Mad Scientist" is preparing for endless experiments in a non-heated environment.
Q: How do small male children show their affection for their older sister who is home from college?
A: They play "pile on" and give tight squeezes around the neck, tempered with emphatic proclamations of, "But, I like you!" Tweet

Ok so I'm leaving this post in my defense of "who is sleeping most of the afternoon away on the couch? A: Her roommate, Heather." Now see... it's not my fault that everytime I was awake we were being attemptedly plowed over by big trucks. I found sleeping to be the best idea for the safety of us for the ENTIRE trip, AND it's especially not my fault that when Ardith walked into the Iowa farmhouse that she was requested to fix the ENTIRE Iowa network, I even heard something about Philladelphia traffic lights. Due to the recent trip and the attack of the killer trucks I thought my sleeping on the couch would help Ardith's quest for world peace. Sorry this post is so long but I had to prove my point and defend myself well. Heather
