Meet "Buck".........

....the tremendously talented, yet terribly annoying singing deer


Yes, folks, you will NOT believe this, but having just come back from Wal-Mart, I can testify to having seen the above apparition with my very own eyes.

Unbe-liev-able, I know, but true! Just go to your local Wal-Mart store, and I'll bet that YOU TOO, can experience this marvel of modern technology...the warbling ruminant. I myself heard him sing a snippet of, "On the Road Again." And, let me tell you, he does an AMAZING impression of Willy Nelson. Also heard....that western toe-tapper, "Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'....." or something like that. I'm a tellin' ya, it was enough to give me goose bumps. We just had to leave, before the sheer majesty (not to mention, the giggles) overwhelmed us.

You'll find him in the hunting section...if there are any left, or he hasn't been torn to bits by crazed shoppers.

After THAT cultural encounter, we had to calm ourselves down by cruising over to the pet department and looking for dead fish. We found several, but unfortunately, not quite enough for tonight's supper. So sad.

Well, there's the timer. Looks like the guppies are done. Luckily I have meatloaf to go along with....
